Earlier this year, 15-year-old India Brainard, who has cerebral palsy, underwent "gruelling surgery" — dual hip replacement and femur re-alignment surgery — that kept her recovering in a Boston hospital for 57 days.

She's now closer to home in a New Mexico hospital, still recovering from unexplained pain.

To cheer India up, her father, Donnie, surprised her with a visit from her boyfriend, Daniel, who Donnie describes as "equally disabled."

He recorded the sweet reunion on his cellphone and posted the video on his blog.

"India was absolutley exhausted at the time after a long day. But you can see the joy and love. She lasted about an hour and is still talking about it," Donnie wrote.

Earlier this month, India was reunited with her younger sister, Marion.

"When she saw her, she went running up," Donnie told ABCNews.com. "India got big tears in her eyes. She calls her 'Sissy' and said 'Sissy, Sissy, Sissy' over and over again in a real high-pitched voice."

India's family is currently trying to raise funds to cover some of her medical bills.

"I'm humbled beyond words reaching out in this way but India doesn't deserve this and there is a way to take away her day to day agony. So I'm 'Daddy' asking for help," Donnie wrote.
