The JuiceSay Cheese! ‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Has Smiliest Mugshot Ever
Umm … did we miss something? On Monday, August 12, troubled "Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans failed a court-ordered drug test and was thrown in jail (again). That doesn't seem like something to smile about, but in her mugshot, Evans is all but glowing as she flashes a grin from ear-to-ear.
"Jenelle pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and all the other charges were dismissed," Dustin Sullivan, her attorney, explained to Radar. But the young mother wasn't out of hot water yet.
The judge ordered a drug test, which she promptly failed, testing positive for marijuana. "The judge gave her 48 hours in jail for testing positive," Sullivan confirmed.
Evans, who arrived at court with her new beau, Nathan Griffith, was already working her way through an 18-month probation that resulted from charges linked to her April 23 arrest for heroin possession and assault. Perhaps her gleaming smile in her most recent mugshot is simply the result of her relief that this time around the charges are so much less severe — then again, maybe not.
Either way, even after she gets released on Wednesday, August 14, at 9:30 a.m., Evans will have several more messes to clean up, such as getting divorced from her estranged husband, Courtland Rogers, with whom she's had a contentious relationship with for quite some time. (Rogers did stop by the courthouse, but left to go wakeboarding before Jenelle got thrown back in jail.)
Unless Jenelle knows something we don't, her happy smile makes us worry she might be in even more trouble than we thought.
