Who Is Boban Marjanovic's Wife? All About Milica Krstić
Milica Krsić has been married to the NBA star since 2014
NBA superstar Boban Marjanovic's professional life revolves around shooting hoops, but in his personal life, family comes first.
Marjanovic reportedly met his wife, Milica Krstić, at a mutual friend’s birthday party. The pair hit it off and have been married for almost a decade. Since initial dating and tying the knot — twice — the couple have welcomed two children.
“We have two boys, Vuk and Petar," Krstić said in a 2021 video testimonial for their kids’ school, Brook Hill International School in Belgrade, Serbia.
She went on to explain that the boys had been part of the Brook Hill International School system for around five years, with the family living “back-and-forth” between Serbia and the United States.
While the NBA star and his wife are quite private, Marjanovic frequently gushes over Krstić and their two sons on Instagram.
In 2022, the father-of-two posed with his sons in a series of photos. With his arms around the boys, the proud dad simply captioned the post with a world emoji and a heart emoji.
Here’s everything to know about Boban Marjanovic's wife, Milica Krstić.
She and Marjanovic had two wedding ceremonies
Marjanovic and Krstić sealed their love with not one but two marriages.
The couple got married in a ceremony in their home country of Serbia in 2014 and also held a beach wedding in Mexico the same year.
Posting a throwback Thursday photo on her Instagram account, Krstić reminisced on the tropical wedding that took place at the Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun.
Posing on the beach with her husband and two members of the wedding party, Krstić wore a strapless fishtail wedding dress, while the sports legend wore a simple two-piece suit and a pair of Converse sneakers.
She and Marjanovic both like to cook
The husband-and-wife duo both enjoy spending time in the kitchen. In June 2022, the couple faced off in a cooking battle in a partnership video between Bleacher Report and Butcher Box.
Marjanovic headed out to the grill to cook up some steaks, while Krstić opted for scallops.
“Am I a professional? No. Do I have a gift? Maybe,” the NBA star joked to the camera.
“He likes to try to make stuff,” his wife said. “But I wouldn’t say he’s really experienced.”
After trying each other’s dishes, Marjanovic declared his wife the winner, saying that his wife’s food was restaurant-quality.
“I will give you this win, because I’m a gentleman,” he told Krstić with a shake of her hand.
She is two feet shorter than Marjanovic
Standing at 7’4”, the basketball star is famous for being one of the tallest NBA players in history. His wife is a modest 5’3”, as listed in her Instagram biography, which makes her more than two feet shorter than her husband.
The couple often receive comments about their height difference, something that Krstić has learned to take in her stride.
"Some of the comments are so funny they make me laugh with tears in my eyes,” she said during an interview with The Daily Mail. “Sure, there are also negative comments, but when a person is happy and satisfied with what they have, they don't pay attention to those kind of comments.”
She often attends Marjanovic's games
The proud wife often attends her husband’s NBA games and can be seen cheering him on from the sidelines.
In May 2022, while her husband was signed to the Dallas Mavericks, she posed on the court at the American Airlines Center alongside her sons Vuk and Petar, and in November 2022, she shared a video compilation of her husband on the big screen during a game.
Aside from showing her support through her Instagram account, the couple have been snapped at Marjanovic's games by professional photographers. In February 2019, while Marjanovic was playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, the pair posed for a photo following a game against the Detroit Pistons.
Marjanovic serenaded Krstic for her birthday
Sharing the love for his wife of almost a decade, Marjanovic showed off his singing and songwriting skills after he penned his own version of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Shallow from the 2018 blockbuster hit A Star is Born. He wrote the song to honor his wife’s birthday, as he was unable to be with her to celebrate the day in person.
Singing along to the piano, the NBA star sang: “I love you to the moon, looking forward, see you soon.”
