A body has been found during a search for a missing man.

Norfolk Police said specialist officers made the discovery at Horstead, near Wroxham, on Tuesday afternoon.

Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of Phil Edwards, 65, has been informed, the force said.

Mr Edwards went missing from his home in Old Catton, near Norwich, on 5 July, leading to a major search involving Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue and the coastguard.

Police said the man's death was not believed to be suspicious.
