Britain's Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli reveals new act causes huge mess
Britain’s Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli has revealed details about an act on the new series that caused a huge mess.
The 17th series of the ITV talent show is back this Saturday (April 20), with former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno back for his second year on the BGT panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.
On Thursday’s edition of The One Show (April 18), Bruno appeared to promote the new series, and teased one chaotic audition this year that became very messy for all the judges.

While Bruno said he felt like a "kid in a sweet shop" because of all the talent on display in the upcoming series, he then revealed that some auditions were "pretty gross", before going on to explain what happened with one particular act.
"I always get caught because I’ve never done it before," he said. "I always believe, if someone comes up [and says they’re going to do] opera, I’m like, oh god this is great, I adore opera, it’s going to be fantastic, I know most of the operatic repertoires."
He then explained that this act started performing opera, but things quickly took a turn when they came up to the judges’ desk – in a bizarre explanation that left presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp baffled.

Bruno said: "Alesha has a sixth sense – Alesha disappears, it was like warp speed, you know Star Trek: Enterprise? I turn around, Simon is covered in tomato sauce. I try to stand up – covered in parmesan cheese and greasy spaghetti all down my shirt.
"Ant and Dec were literally falling over, they were laughing so much. Simon starts chasing Amanda with tomatoes. What have I signed up for? Just insanity."
At the press launch for the new series of BGT, Simon told Digital Spy and other media that he thinks the show will be around for years to come.
"The acts are actually, thank god, getting better," he said. "And because the show is [for] all ages… I think it’s going to be here for a long, long time."
Britain’s Got Talent returns on Saturday, April 20 at 7.30pm, and Sunday, April 21 at 7.40pm, airing on ITV1 and ITVX.
