This is the moment a British man accused of raping two women he met on Tinder in Scotland is arrested whilst working out on a Costa del Sol beach.

Video footage shows gym boss James Clacher, 55, hanging upside down on a workout rig when three Spanish plain-clothes officers run up to him and pin him to the ground in May 2024.

Mr Clacher was facing trial on rape charges when he went missing from the Scottish town of Airdrie in May 2022.

Spain’s Civil Guard released footage of the high-profile arrest today (4 July).
