Burger and Beer Softball Nights at the Pin starting this Friday

The Pin in Taber will be holding a Burger and Beer Softball Night on May 10 beginning at 6 p.m.

“We are holding this as a celebration of baseball being back,” said Joel Mills, partner and co-manager of the facility. “The mixed softball league starts this Friday and we are going to be grilling burgers every Friday moving forward so the softball crowd has some great eats for after the games. People will be able to enjoy some burgers, a great atmosphere, and cold drinks, as well as live music performed by Taber’s own Kai Brooks.”

Mills says that the free event is open to everyone, with the burgers beginning at 6 p.m. and the baseball game being on at 8:30 p.m., at which point Brooks will begin a set of music.

The event is open to everyone although it is a promotion for baseball - anyone can swing down, enjoy the spot and have a burger.

“We were inspired to create this event because we know people want to celebrate the return of baseball and what better place than the Pin to refuel and have a few cold ones after games,” said Mills. “We are super excited to have the show room packed. I will be running the grill and cooking up burgers for customers, and this is the first time we have done it - although we have had burger nights in the past for hockey games - they have all been responded to great.”
