Burger King Has 31 Days of Deals in December — Including Free Cheeseburgers Today
Burger King has free chicken sandwiches, discounted Whoppers and other deals all December
You don’t need to look under the Christmas tree for gifts this December.
Burger King is giving fans a full month of unique food and drink deals, starting off with a free cheeseburger on Dec. 1.
The only catch for a free cheeseburger is that customers must make at least a $1 purchase. And today isn’t the only day with food freebies! The burger chain is offering free food every Friday this month when you spend $1, with options ranging from a Whopper Jr., chicken sandwich and more.
Other days of the week have patterns of discounts, like every Wednesday has $3 Whoppers, every Sunday has a $0 delivery fee with a $5 purchase and more. Reward members can access the daily deals through the Burger King app.
One of the month-long deals features a returning menu item: cheesy tots. The beloved cheese-filled tater tots last appeared on BK menus in 2021. They are now available nationwide in 4 or 8-piece versions after a successful test run in select markets.

Also back on the menu are the BK melts, a specialty burger sandwich on rounded bread (rather than a hamburger bun). There are three types of melts available for fans: the classic melt, bacon melt and the new shroom n’ swiss melt.
The classic has two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. patties, melted American cheese, caramelized onions and stacker sauce and the bacon melt is the same but with bacon, too. The new BK melt in the lineup is the shroom n’ swiss melt with two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. patties, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms and stacker sauce.
McDonald’s announced they are bringing back their fan-favorite McNugget Buddies after more than 25 years off the market.
Starting on Dec. 11, six different McNugget Buddy collectibles, each with different outfits and backstories, will be available at McDonald’s nationwide. The toys’ reprisal comes in partnership with New York City-based artist Kerwin Frost, who helped redesign the mascots and created a meal for fans to order.
