Calgary police looking for stolen veterans' monument
Police are looking for thieves who stole a large bronze monument honouring veterans in southeast Calgary.
The monument was stolen from the Mountain View Funeral Home's Veteran Honor Gardens on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
"Due to the size and weight of the monument, it is believed that there were multiple people involved, and they used some sort of vehicle to remove the monument," said police in a press release.
Anyone who has seen the monument, or has any information, can call Crime Stoppers or the Calgary police.
