Calgary police seek suspect in April bank robbery

Calgary police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man responsible for a bank robbery in April.

On April 4, a man entered the Royal Bank in Beddington at around 1:15 p.m. He approached the teller, produced a robbery note and demanded money, police say. He then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say no one was injured during the offence.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, around 25 years of age and weighing approximately 160 pounds.

He was wearing a black baseball cap with a small logo, black sunglasses, black jacket with beige lining and a hood, black shirt with a white shirt underneath, blue jeans and black and white Adidas-style running shoes.
