Canucks' Zack Kassian jumps into wrong bench
The Vancouver Canucks avoided a too many men penalty Thursday night in a game against the St. Louis Blues thanks to some quick thinking by forward Zack Kassian.
A clumsy line change forced Kassian to attempt to join the Blues' bench. The unorthodox play was successful, and the Canucks went on to win the game 4-1.
Needless to say, the Blues were not impressed. Kassian was lucky to get away from a very disgruntled Steve Ott, who clearly thinks there's only room for one No.9 on the Blues' bench.
