Carrie Underwood is Picture of Politeness During Traffic Stop
Country singer Carrie Underwood was as polite as possible when she was stopped for speeding by police in Brentwood, Tennessee, on January 29.
Dashcam footage released by the Brentwood Police Deparment shows the officer approach the car and ask, “What’s the big hurray ma’am?” Underwood replied, “I wasn’t even paying attention. I know that’s not an excuse.”
She later tweeted about the event saying she had not been pulled over in 18 years. “I may or may not have cried in my car after the cop let me go,” the tweet said. Credit: Brentwood Police Department via Storyful
