Casey Wilson Calls Out Tim Allen's 'F---ing Rude' Behavior on Set of “The Santa Clauses”: 'Single Worst Experience'
"Never made eye contact, never said anything. It was so uncomfortable,” the 'Happy Endings' alum said of the 'Home Improvement' star
Casey Wilson called working with Tim Allen one of the "worst" experiences she has ever had on a set.
Wilson, 43, revealed on a recent episode of her Bitch Sesh podcast that working with Allen, 70, on an episode of his Disney+ series The Santa Clauses was “truly [the] single worst experience [she has] ever had with a costar ever.”
Wilson was asked by Bitch Sesh guest Danny Pellegrino what her experience was like on the holiday series. Immediately, Wilson retorted: “Tim Allen was such a bitch.” The actress quickly clarified that she joined the series because her kids “loved the movies” and her “great friend” is one of the producers.
The History of the World, Part II star told Pellegrino and her cohost Danielle Schneider that she worked with Allen on one “home invasion" scene.
“So he’s coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa, and I am woken up thinking there’s an intruder, basically like a home invasion scene,” recalled Wilson.
“So I’m throwing things at him. [Allen] goes over to the producer who is standing four feet from me and goes, and I hear him, he goes, ‘You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines.’ The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me and he goes, ‘Um, Tim would ask that you stop stepping on his lines.’”

As Wilson recalled the moment, she shared, “Everybody was walking on eggshells, and people just looked frantic.”
She added how “ f------ rude” the Home Improvement star was when he exited the set. “[He] never made eye contact, never said anything. It was so uncomfortable."
The actress explained that his abrupt departure occurred when she was filming a close-up shot. She revealed that the actor said, “‘Leaving!’” But she explained he did not notify any of the cast and crew in advance. “[He] takes his Santa cape, picks it up, drops it on the floor and walks out,” said Wilson.
“And they hustle in his stand-in — lovely man — who was much nicer to act against. People are scurrying to pick up his velvet Santa coat. He’s a bitch.”
Wilson then shared that after Allen departed set, a crew member she doesn’t know “breezed past" her and said, "‘You’re seeing him on a good day.‘”
