The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off star Yinka Bokinni that her fellow contestant Danny Dyer had "a bit of a breakdown" in the tent, and had to stop for a little bit.

The radio presenter appeared alongside the EastEnders actor and comedians Rhod Gilbert and Leigh Francis on last night's (March 24) episode of the celebrity spin-off.

After creating biscuit people and fondant fancies in their Signature and Technical challenges, the celebs were tasked with recreating their biggest failure in cake form for their showstopper.

Dyer decided to immortalise a DIY disaster in which he trapped himself in a wardrobe, and ended up having a bit of a disaster in the tent.

Speaking to Metro, Bokinni revealed a little bit more of what went down in the episode that we may not have seen in the final edit.

"Danny had a mare trying to get the figure of himself into his closet," she said of his cake baking.

"He almost had a bit of a breakdown. We had to take a breather because it just kept falling apart."

Overall, Bokinni said that Dyer was a pretty decent baker in her estimation, although she admitted her expectations weren't very high to begin with.

She said: "He's not bad [at baking]. I thought that he was going to be cutting off our fingers and adding salt and stuff. But he can make me a cake if he wants to."

This is the last series of Bake Off's celebrity spin-off that will feature Prue Leith, as she is reducing her commitments to only the flagship in order to have a bit more time off.

Prue added that because the series are filmed back to back, it is "the whole way through the summer", and she aims to use her free time to see more of the world.

The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off airs on Sunday nights on Channel 4.
