Chance the Rapper's Toronto show at Budweiser Stage postponed because of high lake levels

Chance the Rapper's show tomorrow near Toronto's waterfront is being postponed by six days because of high water levels on Lake Ontario, an entertainment company that is promoting his concert says.

Live Nation said in a note posted to the Ticketmaster website that the performance has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 30th at Budweiser Stage (formerly the Molson Amphitheatre) at 8 p.m.

"Due to the unprecedented water levels of Lake Ontario, the venue is continuing to experience a level of water intake that will jeopardize production of the concert and fan experience," the company said in the note.

"Live Nation is working tirelessly to ensure the venue will be ready for fans to receive only the best concert experience at the newly revitalized Budweiser Stage on May 30th."

Tickets bought for the May 24th show date will be honoured and those who can't attend can get refunds where they bought the tickets until this Friday at 5 p.m., Live Nation said.
