Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and mom star in Pfizer commercial promoting COVID, flu vaccines

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in commercial for Pfizer.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce showed off two special rings for his latest commercial.

Alas, they were not his Super Bowl championship rings, just a couple of goofy-looking knockoffs. Kelce wore them as he repeatedly mentioned the tagline “Two Things At Once” as part of the spot for Pfizer, which debuted late this week.

“With my schedule, saving time is key,” Kelce wrote in an Instagram post that included the video. “The CDC says you can get this season’s updated COVID-19 shot when you get your flu shot if you’re due for both. That’s why I got two shots in one stop! Ask your doctor or pharmacist if it would be right for you. You can also visit CDC’s vaccines.gov to learn more and schedule an appointment.”

Kelce’s mom, Donna, also makes an appearance in the spot, and she notes that showing off the two fake rings is not really doing two things at once.

The Chiefs’ superstar tight end has made off-field news for his interest in pop star Taylor Swift, who recently performed in Kansas City. Late this week, Kelce even invited Swift back for a Chiefs game.

Here is Kelce’s Instagram video. Comments are turned off for the post, likely in anticipation of negative reaction to the commercial promoting COVID-19 and flu vaccines. And that was the case on other social media channels.

If that video doesn’t play, here it is on X (formerly known as Twitter) as shared by user Chief Nerd. That post already had 1,300 comments as of Saturday morning.
