Chloe East Joins Netflix Comedy ‘No Good Deed’

EXCLUSIVE: Chloe East (The Fabelmans) is set for a key recurring role opposite Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow in Netflix‘s upcoming comedy series No Good Deed, from creator Liz Feldman (Dead to Me).

The eight-episode No Good Deed is a half-hour, dark comedy that follows three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. But as the sellers have already discovered, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a total nightmare.

East will play Emily Morgan, Paul (Romano) and Lydia (Kudrow) Morgan’s artsy but put-together daughter. She’s been away at college, but there may be other reasons she’s been distant.

Feldman serves as showrunner and executive produces alongside Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions, Christie Smith, and Silver Tree, who will direct the pilot and additional episodes.

East recently wrapped the A24 thriller Heretic alongside Hugh Grant and Sophie Thatcher for directors Bryan Woods and Scott Beck. She was most recently seen in Steven Spielberg’s seven-time Oscar- nominated film The Fabelmans, opposite Paul Dano, Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen. Other credits include the Lena Dunham-produced dramedy Generation (stylized Genera+ion) and feature film The Wolf At Snow Hollow. East is repped by WME, Vault Entertainment, LINK Entertainment and Felker Toczek Suddleson Abramson McGinnis Ryan.
