Chris Pine hits the SAG-AFTRA picket line with dad Robert Pine
The SAG-AFTRA strike is starting to look like a forest — there are multiple Pines on the picket line.
Chris Pine was spotted picketing outside Disney studios in Burbank on Monday alongside his father Robert Pine. The younger Pine wore a name tag that says "Hello, my name is Chris Pine."

The elder Pine is best known for his starring role on CHiPs, which ran for six seasons from 1977 to 1983. He also appeared in episodes of The West Wing, The Office, Baywatch, Criminal Minds, Parks and Recreation, and, fittingly, the Star Trek series Voyager and Enterprise. Pine also made appearances in movies such as Frozen, Independence Day, Mother's Day, and But I'm a Cheerleader.
The younger Pine has had a busy year. In addition to making his feature directorial debut with Poolman, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, he also starred in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and will provide the voice for the antagonist in Disney's upcoming animated film Wish. Pine also starred in, cowrote, and produced Poolman, which also stars Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Ariana DeBose. Meanwhile, Wish explores the mythology of a classic Disney trope, the wishing star, and reunites Pine with DeBose.

Other actors have also made appearances on the SAG-AFTRA picket line recently, including Jennifer Garner, Jon Hamm, Jon Cho and Kal Penn, Billy Crystal, Jack Quaid, Aubrey Plaza, and many more.
SAG-AFTRA will remain on strike until the guild reaches a fair deal with Hollywood's studios and streamers that raises wages, increases residuals, empowers performers against artificial intelligence, and improves labor conditions.
