James is enlisted by Jenny to aid the squad, but while giving the game his all, the star player will be seen collapsing. Dad Ed then rushes onto the pitch and performs CPR on James, who’s told later at the hospital that he has cardiomyopathy.
Doctors are to fit him with an ICD to prevent further cardiac arrests, but as James is taken off to theatre, mum Aggie breaks down in tears due to the stress.
The factory protest turns ugly
The factory steps are the scene of protest, as objections are made to Carla doing business with Nadeem. Craig’s efforts to disperse the crowd are unsuccessful, and when Carla emerges from Underworld with Nadeem in tow, the PC is hit on the head by a bottle thrown by Spider’s cohort Griff.
Later in the week, Griff will also be seen suggesting that Saira’s gas-guzzling car be torched after Imran’s mum once again accuses Toyah of murder. Spider then begs Toyah to cut contact with Griff before revealing that he’s in love with her and that his marriage is over.
As they kiss on the balcony and agree to keep their relationship under wraps until after the trial, Saira gives them death stares from the pavement below.
Stephen’s ex is making demands
Stephen is left rattled when his wife Gabrielle arrives with demands that he return the 200,000 euros he stole from her company or she’s going to the police.
It’s an order that leads to Stephen letting himself in to No 8, where he takes out the trust-fund papers before starting to practice Audrey’s signature. But when Audrey herself turns up on the scene without warning, will she catch Stephen in the act?

Tim is left feeling that his secret is safe, but when he later misconstrues a conversation with Dev, he believes Peter has blabbed and betrayed his confidence. Will a heart-to-heart with Aggie result in Tim seeing things differently?
Stu is confronted
Zeedan is confronted by the sight of an empty bookings diary at Speed Daal and starts to worry that Stu’s reputation is ruining the business.
Stu, meanwhile, is being harassed in the street by two lads, who brand him a murderer. Roy then tells Zeedan about the attack, but will this only further fuel Zee’s concerns?
