Coronation Street stars Luca Toolan, Liam McCheyne, and Charlie Wrenshall have shared a night out together, contrasting the upsetting bullying storyline they are involved in on the soap.
McCheyne took to Instagram to celebrate a night out with his off-screen friends by posting a series of photos, including one snap of the three of them alongside Toolan's real-life dad Mike, who works for Hits Radio. Hollyoaks star Owen Warner was also in the photos.
In the caption, McCheyne wrote: "Amazing night at the @aoarena for @hitsradiouk LIVE!! Thanks so much to @miketoolan and @lucatoolan for sorting it out. Definitely would recommend it if you haven't been before. ♥️ Thanks to @kmpxofficial and @lottietoolan for the pics."
This isn't the first time that the young actors have opened up about their real-life friendship. Previously, Toolan and McCheyne revealed that they are friends off-screen.
The pair posted to social media ahead of the knife-pulling episode, writing: "Heavy ep tonight, but an important one – so lucky to have shared it with these lads and PA @karenlouise1306."
I promise we're mates, really!
An important story being told.
There are a few BTS pictures from tonight's episode. But a huge thank you and well done to everyone involved who made these scenes what they were. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/WN31cy3n8U

He continued: "There are a few BTS pictures from tonight's episode. But a huge thank you and well done to everyone involved who made these scenes what they were."
