Country music star Kacey Musgraves to perform in State College. Here’s how to get tickets

Country music singer Kacey Musgraves announced a new world tour Thursday — with a stop at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center later this year.

State College will be the first stop on the North American leg of Musgraves’ “Deeper Well” World Tour. She’s scheduled to play at the BJC on 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Named after Musgraves’ album dropping March 15, the tour will start April 28 in Dublin, Ireland, with stops across Europe before heading to the U.S. Ahead of the release of her sixth studio album, Musgraves, a seven-time Grammy winner, released a new single titled “Too Good To Be True,” along with the tour announcement.

“Real Love” singer Father John Misty and Nickel Creek will also appear on several of Musgraves’ stops, including her BJC performance. Madi Diaz will join the tour throughout dates in Europe, and Lord Huron will tour from November to December with Musgraves.

Presale registration for tickets goes live at noon March 5 for all concert dates, including the BJC. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 7 for students and at 10 a.m. March 8 at Ticketmaster for the general public.

Prices have not yet been announced.

Musgraves is one of several high-profile acts to visit the BJC in 2024, joining Zach Bryan, Drake, Luke Combs and Jelly Roll.
