Creed rocker Scott Stapp is getting divorced after 18 years: The exes are moving on

Moving on.

The estranged wife of Creed rocker Scott Stapp has a brand new gig.

Jaclyn Stapp, 43, is the new director of Miss Florida USA, being held this weekend at the Coral Springs Performing Arts Center. For the first time in its history, the pageant is open to women of all ages (the oldest contestant being 63).

The Stapps have had their share of ups and downs. They’ve been close to ending their 18-year marriage a few times, but eventually withdrawn the papers. This time, unfortunately, the split appears to be for keeps.

“It’s been a long battle and while this isn’t the future she envisioned, she wishes him the best,” Jaclyn’s rep recently told Entertainment Tonight. “The welfare of their children will always be her utmost concern.”

The exes, formerly based in Boca Raton and now live in Nashville, will continue to coparent their three children, Milan, 17, Daniel, 13, and Anthony, 6.

Stapp just wrapped the “Higher Power” tour, in support of his fourth solo album of the same name; more dates will be announced soon.

“Out of respect for their family, Scott intends to navigate this difficult time privately,” a rep for the Orlando born singer, 50, told Us Weekly.
