Dallas Cowboys dominate Washington Commanders 45-10. See scoring plays, highlights, more

FOURTH QUARTER

DaRon Bland makes NFL history with his fifth pick six, this interception was returned 63 yards. After a successful Aubrey PAT the Cowboys lead 45-10 with 4:39 remaining.

The Cowboys offense continued their hot fourth quarter with their third touchdown of the quarter. This touchdown was a 34-yard pass to KaVontae Turpin. Aubrey’s PAT was good to give the Cowboys a 38-10 lead with 5:59 remaining.

After the Cowboys defense turned the Commanders over on downs, they started the ball on the Washington 24. The Cowboys capitalized on the short field with Prescott throwing his third touchdown of the game. The Cowboys two-point conversion to Lamb was successful and gave Dallas a 31-10 lead with 10:32 left.

The Cowboys scored their first points of the half off a 52-yard Aubrey field goal thanks to big catches from Cooks and Lamb. Dallas leads 23-10 with 13:36 remaining in the final quarter.

THIRD QUARTER

Neither team was able to score in the third quarter with both teams struggling to finish drives.

SECOND QUARTER

Prescott ran the two-minute drill to perfection with a five-play 75 yard drive capped off by a seven yard tocudhown run by Tony Pollard. Aubrey misses the PAT and the Cowboys lead 20-10 with 26 remaining in the half.

The Commanders built on their previous drive with Howell throwing for 61 yards on the drvie before a one-yard rushing touchdown by Howell. After the Slye PAT the Cowboys still lead 14-10 with 1:51 left in the first half.

The Cowboys responded with a six-play 75-yard drive which ended with Prescott’s second touchdown pass of the day, this one to Brandin Cooks. The Aubrey PAT was good and the Cowboys lead 14-3 with 8:27 remaining.

After being shutout in the first quarter the Commanders had their best drive of the game highlighted by a 30-yard pass from Sam Howell to Jahan Dotson to set up a 43-yard field goal by Joey Slye. Cowboys lead 7-3 with 11:27 remaining.

FIRST QUARTER

The Cowboys started the drive on their own 10-yard line and used their rushing attack along with some big pass plays from Dak Prescott to score their first touchdown. Rico Dowdle scored on a 15-yard pass. The Brandon Aubrey PAT was good and the Cowboys lead 7-0 with 56 seconds left in the first.

The Dallas Cowboys (7-3) play the Washington Commanders (4-7) on Thanksgiving after winning their last two games.

The Cowboys sit in second place in the NFC East trailing the Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) by two games. The Eagles will play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

The Commanders have lost their last two games heading into Thursday’s matchup with the Cowboys.
