Danielle Smith question cut off during Jim Prentice's 'tele-town hall'
A technical glitch was probably behind a dropped phone call during Progressive Conservative Leader Jim Prentice's telephone town hall with Calgarians, say party organizers.

The hour-long event Tuesday night involved thousands of callers listening in from the comfort of home. Some asked Prentice polite questions about party policy.
When a caller brought up former Wildrose leader Danielle Smith — who crossed the floor to the PC party and then lost the nomination race — the line went dead.
"This is my perception. It may not be yours, but I believe it is the perception of a lot of other people that you used Danielle Smith to decimate her party and that you decided to call..."
After a few seconds of silence, Prentice offered a response: "She was obviously talking about Danielle Smith at the end, but I know she was also asking about the comparison of the Wildrose platform and the Progressive Conservative Party."
Later, party spokesperson Mike Storeshaw said they don't know what happened to that phone call.
"The call was dropped and we don't have a reason why. It may have been a technological glitch. The premier responded to some of the subjects she raised."
It was the only call that was dropped during the hour-long telephone town hall.
