Deer 'Kool-Aid manned' into Texas home and spent the night

Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Authorities in Texas responded to a home where a deer crashed in through a window and spent the night inside.

Courtney Hawk said she returned to her Spring home after spending the night at her boyfriend's house and found a deer in her kitchen.

"He just made himself an entrance. He Kool-Aid manned right through my front window," Hawk told KTRK-TV.

Livestock deputies from Harris County Precinct 4 responded to the home to sedate the deer and carry it outside.

The deer was given an antidote to the tranquilizer and released back into the wild.

"All things considered, I think the damage could have been worse," Hawk said.
