Derek Hough Celebrates Sister Julianne at Kinrgy Fitness Studio Opening with Wife Hayley amid Her Health Crisis

"My sweet family showing up for me," Julianne captioned a video featuring Erbert at the event

Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert are celebrating his sister Julianne Hough's latest business venture.

On Saturday, Julianne, 35, shared highlights from the opening celebration for her new Kinrgy Fitness Studio in West Hollywood, California.

In one of the video clips, the Burlesque star, 35, posed for photos with her brother, 38, and Erbert, 29, at the event on Friday. Hayley wore a black tailored jacket and pants, and sported a short haircut and a big smile amid her first public appearance since her health crisis.

"My sweet family showing up for me and our @kinrgystudiosweho opening! Love you two so much @hayley erbert @derekhough," Julianne captioned the clip.

Derek, 38, also shared a video of the event on his own Instagram page. "Huge congrats to ©juleshough and the ©kingy team for opening their 1st location!" the Dancing with the Stars judge captioned the video, which featured guests taking fitness and dance classes — and a cameo by Julianne.

Derek and Hayley skipped interviews at the event, but Julianne spoke to PEOPLE about the newest edition to her family, her puppy Sunny.

Erbert had an emergency craniectomy while the dancers were on tour in December 2023. She also underwent a follow-up surgery to repair her skull that same month.

Derek recently shared more details about his wife's health crisis, telling PEOPLE that his parents and all four of his siblings — Sharee, Marabeth, Katherine and Julianne — flew to Washington, D.C., to help the couple through those difficult weeks.

"They were some of the first to show up in Washington and stay there and even live with us there,” Derek said of his family. He added that they had a "rotation" of sorts to help with care, and that Julianne stayed "two weeks."

“It was just amazing,” Derek said, adding that Erbert's family also helped out.

Derek is currently preparing to return to his Symphony of Dance tour on April 16 in Tampa, Florida,
