Doctor Who has released some new images teasing Jinx Monsoon’s musical villain, Maestro.

The two-time Drag Race winner was previously confirmed to be playing the Doctor's "most powerful enemy yet", who is set to show up in an episode titled 'The Devil's Chord' while the Fifteenth Time Lord (Ncuti Gatwa) and his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) uncover a mystery at Abbey Road Studios.

Some new stills from the sci-fi franchise’s upcoming season have now been released, showing Monsoon’s character sporting an array of elaborate, music-inspired outfits and bright orange wigs while wreaking some villainy at the Studios.

After officially confirming Monsoons’s character last month, showrunner Russell T Davies told Empire that the star gives "a performance and a half!"

Gatwa was also full of praise for Jinkx's performance, saying: "She absolutely blew us away. It was so cool to see her transfer her skill set to this show. She fits Doctor Who so well."

Meanwhile, following the announcement of her casting last year, Monsoon called her role "a dream come true".
