Drew Barrymore Reveals She Often Doesn't Wear Underwear — and Her Daughter Loves to 'Pants' Her: 'It's a Joke'
Barrymore shares her daughters Frankie, 9, and Olive, 11, with ex Will Kopelman
Drew Barrymore's daughter loves to pull this one prank on her mom.
During Thursday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress, 49, was chatting with guests Chloe Fineman, 35, and Boy George, 62, as well as co-host Ross Mathews, 44, about how Martha Stewart, 82, recently revealed she has foregone underwear in favor of swimsuits underneath her clothes.
"Do you ever go commando?" Mathews asks the group. "Or is that a no, no?"
In response, Fineman and Barrymore both raise their hands, confirming that they sometimes don't wear underwear.
"My daughter tries to pants me all the time too because she knows I'm not wearing my underwear," Barrymore says, surprising Mathews.

"It's a joke!" Barrymore clarifies. "But yeah, I'm like, 'Just make sure this is an inside-the-house thing.'"
Asked why she often doesn't wear underwear, the actress says, "I enjoy commando."
"Because it freaks me out," Mathews says of the idea. "It makes me so...anything could...no. It could go real left."
"You mean like having your daughter come up and pull your pants down?" Barrymore hilariously asks.
When Mathews again asks Barrymore what she enjoys about not wearing underwear, she says it's often when she's wearing sweatpants. "I wear it every day and there's just this nice sort of sweatshirt material," she says.

On another recent episode of her daytime talk show Barrymore talked with guest Christina Aguilera about a recent conversation she had with her daughter.
"My daughter wants to wear a crop top," Barrymore began. "I'll say 'no,' and she'll go, 'You were on the cover of Playboy.'"
"I love that she said that though," said Aguilera, who shares son Max, 16, with ex-husband Jordan Bartman and daughter Summer, 9, with fiancé Matthew Rutler. "Well, I knew it was coming the day I wore chaps. I'm like, 'One day, I know I'm going to be like...'"
"'Cause my daughter wants to wear a crop top, too," continued the singer. "And I'm just like, 'Can we just pull it down?' I see myself doing that."
