Dwyane Wade Posts Photos of Daughters Zaya and Kaavia as He Shares Glimpse of 'Life’N as of Late'

The former NBA star included several pics of the Wade-Union family in the photo dump

Dwyane Wade is living life to the fullest — and soaking up some family time!

On April 27, the retired basketball player, 42, shared a photo dump on Instagram, giving fans a small glimpse into his life with wife Gabrielle Union and their kids.

In one of the photos, Dwyane poses with his elder daughter, model and activist Zaya Wade, before her prom.

Zaya, 16, had shared her prom look — a black Miu Miu dress and leather handbag, black strappy heels and a stack of gold necklaces — on her own Instagram a week earlier.

At the time, her stepmom Union, 51, and older brother Zaire Wade (whom Dwyane also shares with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches) both chimed in on the look.

Union shared a slew of heart emojis while Zaire took a different approach, bringing some big bro energy to her comments section. The 22-year-old responded to Zaya’s caption “went to prom” by asking “WITH WHO?!?!”

In the father-daughter prom shot shared by Dwyane, the model stuns in the elegant Miu Miu look as her dad poses proudly next to her with his hand around her waist.

Also in Dwyane’s post — which he captioned, “Life’N as of Late… I been thinking!” — the former NBA star shared a solo shot of daughter Kaavia James.

The picture features the 5-year-old smiling at the camera while modeling what appears to be a dance recital outfit — a pink, sparkly skirt and jacket set with white tights.

The retired athlete also included a sweet video of Union dancing at a "High Dining" event he hosted with his Jeeter business partners on April 20 in West Hollywood.

Dwyane’s post comes a month after both he and Union shared photos from another milestone in Zaya’s life: her first college tour. In March, the family took a trip to Seattle to check out the University of Washington.

During the visit, the trio walked around campus, enjoyed some of the college’s sights and spent some quality family time together.

The retired athlete also recently opened up about his relationship with Zaya, who came out as transgender in 2020 at age 12, telling PEOPLE that he strives to show her “unconditional love.”

“I don’t want to just be one of those people who’s just been given to Zaya and she doesn’t feel open and confident in me,” the NBA alum told PEOPLE.

Added Dwyane: “I want to show her what unconditional love looks like so she can use me as this sounding board through life."
