Dylan Sprouse Recalls 'Vicious’ Fistfight with Twin Cole on Disney Channel “Suite Life ”Set: 'This Is Puberty'
"We were like, scrapping in the back, we were taking it through the hallways, like wrestling and fighting," Dylan shared of the fight with his brother Cole
Dylan Sprouse is looking back on his tussle with twin Cole Sprouse on the set of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
The 31-year-old recalled having "a vicious fistfight" with Cole in a dressing room of their Disney Channel series when they were teens.
“This is puberty. Brothers fight,” he told E! News. “We were like, scrapping in the back, we were taking it through the hallways, like wrestling and fighting."

The brothers came to their senses after a fan popped by to meet them on set.
"We got a knock on the dressing room door and the door opens and it's a fan,” he shared. “She was like, 'Hey, would you mind if I took a picture with you?'”
"And Cole goes, 'Do you want to come back in five minutes?' And she's like, 'Yeah, sure,'" he added. "She shuts the door and we both busted out laughing so hard, we didn't even know why we were fighting. But that's brothers for you."
The sitcom — which ran for three seasons from 2008 to 2011 — was set at the fictional Tipton Hotel and followed twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin, played by Dylan and Cole, respectively. The twins lived in one of the hotel’s suites with their single mother, Carey Martin (Kim Rhodes), who worked as a lounge singer at the Tipton. The series also featured the hotel’s heiress, London Tipton (Brenda Song); the candy counter girl, Maddie Fitzpatrick (Ashley Tisdale); hotel manager, Mr. Moseby (Phill Lewis); and the hotel’s bellhop, Esteban Ramirez (Adrian R’Mante).

Earlier this week, Cole admitted his memories of filming the sitcom were a bit murkier.
“If I'm being fully honest, when you shoot that many episodes of a show, they kind of all blend together as one big amorphous memory,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I don't really remember too much of that period.”
“The specific details are kind of lost. It was a different time,” he continued of the series.
After more than a decade since the series finale, Dylan told E! News that he and Cole are open to joining forces again on a new project but finding the right venture is proving difficult.
"The thing is, there's just not many opportunities for like, good twin roles that aren't taken by a single actor trying their hand at playing two people," he explained. "So I feel like we did do something together, we would have to make it, which is definitely not off the table."
He added that they both "want to make sure it's really good,” explaining, "I think there's that expectation now that it's been so many years, so if we do do something together, we want to make it really tight."
