EastEnders airs Reiss and Bianca cliffhanger in latest episode

EastEnders spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (November 6), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders has aired a shocking cliffhanger after Reiss Colwell and Bianca Jackson’s big showdown in the show’s latest episode.

This week, Teddy gave Reiss some stolen CCTV footage from near Debbie’s care home, and he discovered that he could be seen leaving on the night of his wife’s death.

He stole the footage and destroyed the flash drive, but Bianca grew suspicious that he had found something incriminating.

Teddy later gave Bianca hope by getting her the other copy of the footage. He explained what he had done after Reiss lied and said the CCTV made Sonia look guilty. Reiss rushed home but it was too late, as Bianca had already watched the footage.

In today’s episode, Bianca asked Reiss why he was at the care home on the night Debbie died, and he was quick to deny that he didn’t kill his wife.

Bianca put him under immense pressure about his lies and screamed in his face until Reiss eventually admitted that he did in fact kill Debbie.

She was furious and rushed to ring the police, but before she could make the call, Reiss destroyed the last copy of the CCTV footage, exclaiming that he can’t go to prison.

Bianca threatened Reiss to confess, reminding him that Sonia was in prison for a crime she didn’t commit, but he was adamant that she would be found not guilty.

In an emotional conversation, Reiss spoke about finding Debbie after her stroke, and Bianca could relate to this after her experience of finding her half-brother Billie dead in 2010.

Bianca insisted that Reiss hand himself in, but he had another idea. He revealed that he was keeping the pillow that he used to smother Debbie in a lock-up, and told Bianca that she could give it to the police and get Sonia out, if she let him go on the run.

Reiss packed some things, and they prepared to leave – but not before Bianca secretly took an ornament to use as a weapon if needed.

They reached the lock-up and Bianca got suspicious when she found that the room was soundproofed and contained lots of Debbie’s clothes.

Bianca prepared to attack, but Reiss then confessed that there was no pillow, then lunged at her with a blanket to smother her.
