EastEnders - huge twist in Nadine and Jay baby story
EastEnders spoilers follow from Tuesday's (April 23) episode, which hasn't yet aired on BBC One.
EastEnders has revealed a huge twist in Nadine Keller's baby story.
Nadine recently turned Jay Brown's life upside down when she got back in contact with him and announced she was pregnant with his baby.
Despite his initial hesitations, Jay begun to reconsider his hostility towards Nadine in Tuesday's episode when Lexi warms to the idea of him having another child.
After a touching chat with Lexi, Jay invited Nadine to his, with the hope of getting a plan in place.
Faced with Nadine again, Jay was unable to hold back his anger and berated her for telling Lexi before she'd had a chance to.
He also questioned the baby’s paternity, but Nadine turned the tables and insisted they could pay for a paternity test if that's what he wanted.
She even went on to reveal that they're expecting a baby girl and presented him with a scan picture.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Jay promised to be there for Nadine and the baby, and even gave her some money.
However, Nadine's intentions started to become clear when she later took a clandestine call, before pulling a fake baby bump from under her top...
Next week's scenes will see Billy's dad Stevie arrive in Walford and he immediately becomes suspicious of Nadine.
Discussing the story, Jamie Borthwick – who plays Jay – said: "Jay steps up to the responsibility that he doesn’t want.
"We all know Jay is a good man, as Perry Fenwick [Billy] calls him. He is a good man and he certainly lives up to responsibility. I think he gets sucked into this dream, he buys into it and he absolutely has no reason to not believe it.
"He is up for all of it and he steps up when called upon because he is a good man."
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
