EastEnders - Junior Knight secret unveiled in iPlayer episode

EastEnders spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode (May 14) which hasn't yet aired on BBC One.

EastEnders introduced Junior Knight's secret family in the show's latest episode.

Emmerdale star Micah Balfour has joined the cast as George's son Junior, who made his first appearance in Monday's cliffhanger in a last-ditch attempt to stop his dad from entering into a dangerous fight which could kill him.

Tuesday's visit to Walford explored the aftermath of this, as George and Junior came face-to-face for the first time in years.

As they navigated their way through a difficult reunion, things turned violent in the crowd, prompting a frightened Cindy, Elaine, Gina and Anna to make their way home sensing the tension.

Junior and George were then left to go over old wounds, before deciding to leave as well.

However, they were faced with more danger when they were stopped by George's boxing contact Rufus and his heavies, who wanted compensation for the cancelled fight.

Junior and George put their differences aside to flee and managed to find their way back to The Vic in one piece.

Despite George's hopes that this could be a turning point, Junior struggled to hide his discomfort and eventually made his excuses to leave.

He then found himself in Peggy's, where his bad day collided with Bianca's – who was reeling from an argument with her step-daughter Whitney.

As the pair bonded over their family problems, they eventually headed back to Bianca's and slept together.

Afterwards, Junior was greeted in the Square by his wife Monique and their son.

He slipped his wedding ring back on, before getting in the car with them.

Next week's scenes wil see George attempt to connect with Monique and Xavier, who the Knights all knew nothing about.

Busayo Ige has been cast as Monique, while Chase Dean-Williams is playing Xavier.

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
