Ed Brubaker’s Graphic Novel Series ‘Criminal’ Adds Pat Healy & Taylor Selé
EXCLUSIVE: Pat Healy (Better Call Saul) and Taylor Selé (BMF) have been cast in recurring roles in Prime Video’s graphic novel series, Criminal. They join the previously announced cast of Charlie Hunnam, Adria Arjona, Richard Jenkins, Kadeem Hardison and Logan Browning.
Criminal is an interlocking universe of crime stories based on the multi-Eisner Award-winning graphic novel series created by Brubaker and Sean Phillips.

Healy has been cast as ‘Seymour,’ a veteran thief and one-time part of Leo’s (Hunnam) dad’s crew, Seymour does what he has to stay alive and get rich while trying to survive in the criminal world.
Selé has been cast as ‘Royal,’ the manager of Sebastian Hyde’s gambling club, and he is sharp-dressed and menacing. Royal is ruthless and will do whatever he needs to protect himself and move forward in the underworld.
As Deadline previously revealed exclusively, Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden are confirmed to direct the first four episodes. Brubaker will co-showrun with acclaimed crime fiction author Jordan Harper. Brubaker and Harper EP alongside Sean Phillips, Sarah Carbiener and Philipp Barnett. Legendary Television will also serve as an executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
Healy can be seen in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and recurring in Showtime’s George & Tammy, opposite Jessica Chastain. He recently appeared in Better Call Saul, and Station 19 as the often problematic Chief Michael Dixon across multiple seasons. Additional credits include The Mill for Hulu; Under the Bed executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio; Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia; and Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Healy is represented by Gersh and Luber Roklin
Selé recently starred opposite Michelle Buteau in the first season of her comedy series, Survival of the Thickest, for Netflix. He can also currently be seen starring in season 3 of Starz’s hit show BMF. Before that, Selé starred as the male lead in ABC’s hip-hop drama series Queens, opposite Naturi Naughton, Nadine Velazquez, Brandy Norwood and Eve. Additionally, he’s starred opposite Claire Danes in Homeland for Showtime and Forest Whitaker in MGM+’s Godfather of Harlem. He is repped by Untitled Entertainment and CESD.
