Emilia Clarke pulled a Daenerys Targaryen and wore a fire outfit at the London premiere of her new film Last Christmas yesterday.
The 33-year-old Game of Thrones alumna hit the red carpet looking all sorts of festive in a cutout Prada number that basically had tinsel on it.
Clarke arrived at the premiere in a breathtaking Prada midi dress with a cutout from her neck to her waist. The faux halter top was crafted from organza ruffles and accented with velvet trim embellished with crystals reminiscent of snowflakes. The dress also featured a demure column skirt that came to her shins.
Somehow, the back of the gown was just as compelling as the front.
The crystal embellishments wrapped around her neck in a sort of choker and the ruffles cascaded down her back.
Her stylist, Petra Flannery, revealed on Instagram that Clarke accessorized her Prada look with black Gianvito Rossi Portofino 70 mm ankle-wrap heels ($815) and Cartier baubles.
Celebrity hairstylist Earl Sims created a high ponytail for Clarke that emphasized the crystal and ruffle detailing of her gown. He even added a thin black bow to her sleek pony just like an IRL present. Makeup artist Kay Montano created a subtly smoky eye on the Last Christmas star and tamed her beautifully kept brows. She also painted her lips in the optimal nude lip for Clarke’s complexion.
Overall, the look was about as red carpet holiday party ready as they come. Now if only we had some place to wear that gown. At the very least we’ll be recreating that stunning pony moment.
