Emmerdale's Gabby left humiliated after Billy blackmail

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Gabby Thomas received a stern warning from Kim Tate in Monday's episode (September 4) as she faced the consequences of her blackmail plan.

Gabby became an outcast at Home Farm following her desperate plan to coerce Billy Fletcher into beating up Nicky Miligan.

Last week, Gabby drunkenly tried to draw Billy into her ongoing desire for revenge against Nicky.

When Billy refused to commit a violent act against Nicky, Gabby threatened to tell his wife Dawn about their recent kiss drama unless he cooperated.

In Monday's visit to the Dales, Billy spoke to Gabby about her threat and hoped that she'd back down now that she had sobered up.

Gabby made it clear that it wasn't just the alcohol talking and she still expected Billy to do her bidding. Although Billy stayed faithful to Dawn when Gabby recently tried to kiss him, scheming Gabby threatened to give Dawn a false version of events.

The ruthless businesswoman was wrong-footed when Billy defied her threats by going straight to Dawn about the blackmail attempt.

Dawn thankfully believed Billy and angrily confronted Gabby about her behaviour, warning that – while they'll still be living under the same roof – she wanted nothing more to do with her.

Furious Dawn was particularly upset that Gabby seemed to be using Billy's criminal past against him, disrespecting his attempts to turn his life around.

When Kim returned home to a tense atmosphere, she was livid to hear how Gabby had been causing trouble.

In a moment alone, Kim read the riot act to Gabby by saying: "You have got to stop this ridiculous cycle of playing the victim. Do you think you're the only person in the world who's suffered from a painful break-up?"

When Gabby complained about everyone hating her, Kim continued: "You have bullied and threatened, then acted surprised that you have no friends. How did you think this was going to play out?

"If I were you, I would steer clear of Billy and Dawn for the foreseeable future. Or you'll have far worse to deal with – me."

Will Gabby take notice of Kim's warning?
