A rift is growing between Matty and Mack as they're currently on opposing sides when it comes to Chloe's departure from the village.

Mack is desperate for Chloe to return, as she left the Dales with their baby son Reuben. Matty has found himself reluctantly siding with his fiancée Amy Wyatt – Chloe's sister – who's helping her family member to stay away.

Chloe figures out the trap in advance and taunts Mack over text, warning that he'll never see Reuben again.

Amy fears the worst after Mack's bungled intervention, accusing him of isolating Chloe even further when she's at her most vulnerable.
