Emmerdale's Victoria sacked by Gabby after Jacob incident
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Victoria Barton loses her job at The Hide next week after a worrying incident involving Jacob Gallagher.
Gabby Thomas makes the decision to sack Victoria after her negligence puts Jacob in hospital.
The upcoming storyline sees Victoria mistakenly inform Jacob that a slider on the menu at a tasting event is nut-free.
This causes Jacob to have an allergic reaction when he consumes the food, which leads to him collapsing to the floor.

Victoria, Leyla Cavanagh and Suzy Merton frantically try to help, looking for an Auto Adrenaline Injector.
A struggling Jacob manages to explain that there's one in his car, so Victoria rushes off to retrieve it. Sadly, valuable time is wasted when Victoria can't find the pen.
Leyla is heartbroken and feels helpless as her son gets weaker on the floor at The Hide.

Later, once Jacob has been admitted to hospital, Leyla goes out for revenge and has Victoria in her sights.
Victoria admits her mistake to Gabby, who soon finds herself losing potential buyers for the Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits centre due to the possibility of reputational damage. Viewers know that Gabby has been considering selling up and moving on from the village after recent tensions at Home Farm.
Things only get worse when Leyla is furious to find Victoria still working at The Hide. She threatens to ruin the business unless the situation is addressed.
Gabby takes notice and fires Victoria, leaving her devastated. What does the future hold for her now?
