Epic party pooper puts on deadpan performance in hilarious photo booth video

Photo booth photography is pretty much a guaranteed crowd pleaser at any wedding, anniversary or large get-together. After all, who can resist dressing up in giant glasses and a feathery boa while posing with a crowd of friends?

Except for one guy, that is.

Andrew Stadelberger decided to show his disapproval for photo booths in a stone-faced, one-minute video posted on YouTube.

Titled This is 30, the clip shows Stadelberger standing behind a crowd of friends who bounc around a slow-motion photo booth. The three women and three men in the video dance and jump around Stadelberger, who stands firmly in one place, staring blankly at the camera while holding a beer.

He doesn’t budge for the entire video, as he’s surrounded by his happy, partying friends. To make the video even more bizarre, or perhaps fitting, it’s edited to the melancholy Simon and Garfunkel song “Sound of Silence”.

The video’s been viewed over 630,000 times.

Comments range from sympathetic to cheeky.

“Ironically, this failed to move me,” quipped Plebchok.

“Ever been surrounded by people and still feel all alone,” wondered MrEpicTruth.
