Eric Church Announces 19-Date Residency at His Nashville Bar Chief's: 'Most Unique Show I'll Probably Ever Do'
The country star's Eric Church: To Beat the Devil residency kicks off April 5 at his new bar's two-story live music venue in Music City
Eric Church is bringing a "unique" show to Music City!
The country star is currently gearing up for the grand opening of his Nashville bar Chief's on Broadway on April 5, and now he's revealed its launch will coincide with the start of Eric Church: To Beat the Devil, a 19-date concert residency at the venue.
"These shows at Chief’s will be one of a kind, only for Chief’s and with some songs that will only ever be performed during these shows," said Church, 46, in a statement about the residency, which will take place in the six-story bar's two-story Neon Steeple live performance space.
Eric Church: To Beat the Devil kicks off the same evening as the 19,350 sq. ft. bar's grand opening and continues through June 9. "It's the most unique show I'll probably ever do, and I'm excited to enjoy this chapter of what Chief’s will be," continued his statement.
Members of the "Springsteen" musician's Church Choir fan club can sign up for presale access from March 12 through March 17 at 11:59 p.m. CT to purchase tickets before anyone else starting March 20 at 10 a.m. CT.
If more tickets are still available by March 22 at 10 a.m. CT, the general public will be able to purchase them at that time. Ticket prices range from $99 to $499 with no additional fees, and a portion of the proceeds will go to Church's Chief Cares Fund.
Earlier this month, Church gave tens of thousands of members of his Church Choir each the deed to an individual brick used to form the Chief's on Broadway building. "You’ve helped me build my career brick by brick, and I want the whole world to know that the building is yours," he told fans at the time.
"This is not just another club downtown. This is our house," continued Church. "I’ve been involved in every step of restoring this historic building into a place we can call our own and, because you’ve been with me every step of my career, I’m proud to dedicate a physical brick of the Chief’s building to each and every one of you."
