Last night, Ariana Grande hit the 2020 Grammy Awards and blessed our ears with a medley of hits from Sweetener and thank u, next. And naturally, she pulled off a flawless performance along with flawless vocals, which ended with her chilling on a bed. But what you might not have noticed due to being focused on how Ariana's voice is that of an ANGEL SENT FROM HEAVEN, is that she ended her performance by taking off an engagement ring. And I'm not saying this is Pete Davidson shade, but considering he was the dude Ari got engaged to, I'm also not not saying that.

BEHOLD, the moment in question:

As a reminder, Ariana and Pete got engaged in Summer 2018 after a whirlwind romance. And Pete gave Ari a pretty fancy 3.03 carat $100k ring, which she returned to him after their breakup. The couple's relationship lasted about 6 months and was pretty intense—by which I mean Ari and Pete got several tattoos dedicated to each other and adopted a pet pig.

At the time of their split, a source told TMZ that "it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off" and that while Ari and Pete still loved each other, "things are over romantically."
