Everything coach Mike McCarthy, QB Dak Prescott, Cowboys said after beating Giants

Everything Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy, quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, other players said after Sunday’s win over the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium. Comments courtesy of the Cowboys media relations staff.

Coach Mike McCarthy

On what went right today

“Obviously, with the gameplan and some of the things they were going through, it was important for us to get out there and be aggressive and jump on them. I think it was a part of the first drive, just being aggressive. I thought our defense did a great job taking advantage of the backed-up field position. Gave us two excellent opportunities to go back down there and score. Our offense versus their defense, schematically they do a lot. It’s a challenge. We were really looking forward to it because you have to beat those type of defenses particularly when they try to stress your protection. I thought our guys did a good job of that. Pass protection was a huge, huge emphasis for us this week. I’m not sure, but I don’t think we gave up a sack. Defensively, just swarmed the ball, won the situationals and special teams we didn’t have a whole lot going on there. Decisive win.”

On Brandin Cooks today

“His opportunities came together - I think the protection was part of it – and we’re getting to where we need to be. We still have work to do there. Going off last week, we definitely took a step this week. With that, we were able to get into the play types that we want to live in. I think you’re seeing more of that here the last couple weeks.”

On CeeDee Lamb the last couple weeks

“It’s really cool when you see CeeDee, or a player, just really hit his stride. You know what’s great for the Dallas Cowboys is that he’s going to be doing that for a long time. I think with Dak Prescott, you have a guy that you can grow with. Not only is it great for those two, but it’s good for the whole group. It raises the standard that everybody has to play to.”

On if he’s seen a difference in Dak Prescott since the game against San Francisco

“Not really, the 49ers game, that was disappointing for all of us. It wasn’t like it was just one guy. Nobody walked out of there that day. Just like anything this is the National Football League, you get knocked on your ass. It’s not whether you get back up, but it’s how you get up. I think our guys have responded.”

On how Dak Prescott has continued to get better

“He’s all football. This guy, he loves everything about it. The training. When you look at this game, Sundays are really for free. What he does Monday through Saturday is so impressive. It’s important because we made changes from last year. And these guys have worked hard to do the things that they’ve been asked to do. It’s nice to see it come together. It’s nice to see the success that they are having because they have definitely put the work in.”

On why Dak Prescott is seeing it so well now

“It’s just like anything. I think the harder you work and the more you prepare...I think you have to give the coaches credit, starting with Brian (Schottenheimer) and Scott Tolzien all the way through Mike Solari. I’m really excited about some of our young coaches. We’re really finding our stride with the gameplans and the things like that. He’s definitely playing at a high level. He works at it.”

On leaving CeeDee Lamb out there to get the record

“How many times are you in a position like that? You feel worse as a coach if I walk in there and you ask me why the hell didn’t you leave him out there for nine yards. I’ve had it happen before. I think this league is so competitive, when you are in that position. I think it’s the respect that you should show your player to accomplish that record.”

On the effectiveness of the run game and the play of the offensive line

“Those guys just need to continue to play together. Definitely ran the ball better. Had some tough looks. They didn’t make it easy. I thought our guys did a really good job sorting it out. I thought Tony (Pollard) had some tough looks that he ran hard through. Rico (Dowdle) got some clean looks that he attacked. We definitely took a step in the right direction.”

On how surprised he is by the margin of victory between the Cowboys and the Giants this season

“There’s so much that goes into that. I’m sure they don’t want to hear me talk about their team. This is a hard league. You get in situations, whether it’s health and whatever else is going on. That’s why I talk about it all the time. When you don’t have all your players nobody cares. I’ve been on both sides of that. I think you got to keep your eye on the target. I think our guys did a good job of that this week. It was important for our guys to go out and play better than we did last week. I think the only thing that’s frustrating to me was the penalties in the second half. Other than that, I thought our guys totally took control of the game early and commanded it for four quarters.”

On Rashaan Evans

“Dan (Quinn), speaking of earlier in the week, we wanted to get him involved. He’s been getting more and more comfortable each week. It was important to have a section of calls for him. That was the plan going in.”

On Rico Dowdle

“I love Rico’s run style. He runs so dang angry. It’s beautiful. That’s the young man we saw as a rookie. Some players do it, you go through an injury phase. Sometimes they have one or two things back-to-back. That’s really just his situation. You’re seeing a young man finally get some opportunities. You’ve got to remember, he returned a kickoff for a touchdown his rookie year. I’ve always been high on Rico. It’s awesome to see him have some success.”

On the defense

“When you prepare for a quarterback you don’t have a whole lot on. It’s how are they going to use him? I think for the most part, especially the first three quarters, we kept him in the pocket. He’s a runner. He’s loose with his feet. I thought our guys did a good job sticking with the plan.”

On Cooper Rush

“Cooper, really the young guys. You look and we’ve had a few of these kind of games and then the fourth quarter we’ve been at zero production. I told them at halftime, everybody plays. But everybody needs to produce. These young players are going to be needed at some point. Cooper, you could run a whole offense with Cooper, so there was really no hesitation there. I thought it was really important for our young players to go out there and play. Both offense and defense, those were very valuable reps for our football team.”

On Michael Gallup today

“That’s what Michael does. Michael is one of the best red line receivers clearly that I’ve ever had a chance to coach. We talked about him coming out of last year, going through that first year, coming back from an injury, trying to get him more involved and playing different spots. That’s the beauty of it, we still have so much that we can do. You have to move these guys around, they doubled CeeDee a ton today. I think obviously the touchdown that Dak scrambled in, they doubled two guys, you can’t double everybody. The other guys need to take advantage.”

On Mazi Smith

“From what I saw of it, I thought Mazi played well. I thought he definitely made some plays out there today. Mazi is getting better. The rookie year is always a challenge. Once it slows down for him, it isn’t like we line up in one front, so when we ask those guys to do and Hank (Johnathan Hankins) is a great veteran example, just the little things. The mental aspect of it. There’s a lot that goes on in between the tackles in there.”

On Sam Williams

“Yeah, Sam had a big day. He got to play a lot. I think it all kind of falls into what I was talking about with these young players. These young players are going to take advantage of these opportunities and anytime that we have someone on the 48-man roster, 49 for us, you’d like to see everybody contribute 20 plays if you can. That’s kind of what I talked about at halftime, I wanted these young guys to go out and perform and be productive. Sam did a nice job.”

QB Dak Prescott

On the team’s focus on the Giants

I wouldn’t say it was tough to focus. I mean, I’ve talked about it week after week. This is the NFL. Those guys get paid. Those guys, hopefully, love this game and put the same preparation and work into it. So, you’ve got to prepare the same way, stay focused the same way, and go out there to try to handle business. Not only that, it was game one right. They obviously haven’t had the season they’ve looked forward to. But that being game one until now, there’s probably things that they picked that would maybe go better. We came with the same focus as we normally would. We didn’t score on that first drive but we got momentum going. We were ready to play and will continue to do that. This is about us running our own race. No matter what the score is, the other opponent, what they’re going through, what’s tough for them, a young quarterback, whatever, we’re trying to build. We’re trying to build a better team to our best performance and best versions of ourselves each week.

On outscoring the Giants 89-17 this season

The points that we put up into two games, credits to our defense holding them to 17 points in two games. It’s hard to do in this league and hard to do against a division opponent that you see twice. It’s not a goal that we went after. It’s not something that we were trying to do. Obviously, we wanted to handle them for the second time this season and it just happened to be in that manner with that many points in the defense plans that they did. They had unfortunate circumstances with a young quarterback, but he made some plays at times.

On his thoughts of how he’s played the past four to five weeks

I go back and think about before the 49ers game. Going into that game, I felt confident. I felt good about everything that happened. The results were obviously just not there. In this headspace, being prepared, the chemistry of this team, the chemistry of the coaching staff, credits to them. I feel like I talk about them every week. Hopefully I do so because they’re a great group that are giving us everything that we need, staying on us, always making changes when we need them. They’re fun to play for, play with, and work with. I credit them, but for me, it’s just about being comfortable and being free. We talked about it going back to the offseason. The footwork and all the different things that we worked on and I feel like at this point so many games into the season, all that comes into play and its feels more natural. We’re this far in the season and I’ve listened to my feet and believed in them. The pass protection working hand in hand being able to change up. So many protections. So many guys outside going and making plays. CeeDee Lamb with the streak. I don’t even want to call it a streak because that’s who he is. It’s just what he’s beginning to do week in and week out. It starts with him but then those other guys understanding if we’re on one-on-one opportunities. We’re going to do the same thing and Brandin [Cooks] had a night tonight, MG [Michael Gallup] had a couple big catches. Everything is just coming together. That’s my point about this is about us hitting our peak at the right time and just trying to grow. We’re going to do that and make sure that it doesn’t stop. We’re not satisfied with this; I can promise you that. I’ll have an interception, maybe two or more plays that should’ve been an interception. I won’t get the quiet, peaceful sleep that I want to be thinking about, but that’s where I am. That’s where this offense is. Where the team is striving to be our complete best.

On his connection with Brandin Cooks during the first half

Practice. I always talk about practice and what we put into it. Going back to this game plan early in the week, I told him, “Let’s put in the work in and it’s going to come out.” He’s been there for us all year when we needed him to. There’s been games that we’ve come back and said, “Could you get him more involved?” He’s the type of player that deserves those questions when he’s not getting those targets or getting those catches and then through the little communication that we’ve have throughout this week. He had a great week of practice. Some plays build momentum to go for him and the others, he went and won when they would double CeeDee. He went and beat his man and made it easy for me to throw to him.

On how he perceives teams will approach the team when covering receivers

You don’t leave CeeDee one-on-one then. In this league, you understand that people are always trying to take away what you do best. But when those guys go out and perform like they did, I don’t know what a defense does. You have to leave one-on-one somewhere, and MG is going to go make those plays. Brandin going to go make those plays. Ferg is going to go make those plays. You want to play soft, we’ll get the run game going even more. Interested to see how it goes.

On Sunday’s run game along and on Rico Dowdle’s performance

It starts with those guys up front. Their communication has been on the same page. Getting to get to those looks that we want and those guys running really hard outside the tackles and being able to pierce it up the middle. Rico is a hard- nosed runner and has been since the time that he showed up. He has dealt with some adversity and some injuries early in his career, but just to see him out there healthy and running physical. He’s a talented player and when you have him and Tony Pollard, that speed, just being able to use those two guys are going to continue to allow this offense to be balanced as we move forward.

On viewing how running and passing work together

I run to set up the pass. I started off there and I’m a guy that loves play action. It creates favorable matchups. When you have the run game going, you’ve have to play one-on-one outside. The way these guys have been running, the way they are getting open and winning their one-on-ones makes my job a whole lot easier.

On Michael Gallup’s performance

If anyone has been a fan of him, everyone in here can attest that it’s me. I understand that he’s had some tough games, some adversity, but that’s life. The last thing he’s going to do is fold. Last thing he’s going to do is to allow that to get to him. Not going to allow that to get to me and not not feed the guy, so happy for him. I’m not surprised at all. Happy for him. He had a huge catch down in the endzone making another big one later and that’s who he is. You get the ball up, you give him an opportunity and watch him do the rest. When he can do that, other guys are winning. Just to see how they play us and what they decide.

On his streak of 300+ yards passing and how the offense has allowed him to do that

It goes back to the offseason work that we put into this. We’re nine games into this. The first couple, we were filling it out. Coach Mike and me probably will be the first to tell you that the first game him calling some plays, trying to do this and trying to do that. For me, just really listening to my feet, me being bought into protection, bought into the reads. Allowing my feet to talk to me, whether one’s there, two’s there, whatever, for the double hitch, you start to run. I really just think that it’s all coming together, but it just all goes back into the preparation way back into the spring. We’ve continued to talk and communicate. Something that has been huge is the play calling purpose. I understand what he wants and what he’s trying to get after on each and every play. With that, I know that I have the freedom to get us out of something else to get us in this, if it’s that look. Or allow me to play my game, allow the read to come to me and then use my feet to move. It’s been really fun.

On Brandin Cooks having a great performance

It’s great. He had 173. That’s what it’s all about. Get that guy the ball and let him run. I didn’t realized that Cooper Rush said that he had 100 at halftime. For him to have that production is awesome. That guy deserves more than anybody. Amazing teammate, amazing friend, amazing guy. He does everything the right way. And honestly, he deserves that. He’ll have more of them; I’ll promise you that. It might not be an every week thing. He will have more of these games and that’s why he was brought here. He’s been dependable whether he’s got the targets or not. When he does get them, that’s what he does. We’ll find him more, that’s what I told him.

On where he thinks CeeDee places in the hierarchy of NFL wide receivers

That’s an obvious question for me. Number one, he’s the guy that I throw to. I know the work that he puts into this. You’re not going to be able to cover him one-on-one. I don’t know who you are or who you have, or who you think you have on the other side, you’re just not going to be able to cover him. At that point, you’re forced to put two people on him and he will still beat that at times. All that does is now that he’s going to be the assist man because he’s going to take those two guys and allow people on the outside of that to win, as he showed that tonight in different situations. There were times where he doubled tonight. Talented guy and he’s young. That’s one of the bigger things and me promoting him and how great he is. He’s scratching the surface and these last few games are what you see when we give him the targets and put the ball in his hands as much as we can. I’ll tell you that there was another play left out there that he probably would’ve went for 70 yards on the tip pass on the slant. So, he’s special.

On comparing his 2021 season to now

I’ve never been a statistics guy. In that sense, it doesn’t matter. I can tell you that I’ve never been as confident, as free, and as connected with other guys on the offense play calling and just this whole system and what we’re trying to get after as I am now. Credit to those guys, credit to Coach McCarthy, credit to Schottenheimer, Tolzien and the rest of the offensive staff. Being able to communicate exactly what we’re trying to get what we’re getting after. Showing me looks and preparing me. But then, obviously, the work that me these guys have put in. Whether it be on our own or film study, whether it be individually or together when coach and them go over everything. It feels good honestly. Great chemistry. We’re just going to continue to build. This isn’t about me, rather than that. This is about this team. We have a hell of a defense, and we need to make sure that we continue putting up points. Allow those guys to hunt the other quarterback and be tough.

On the defensive line during Sunday’s performance

It starts with them. We can talk about CeeDee going for three games and 150 yards, Brandin having the 170 game, and me playing as well as I am. None of that happens without these guys up front busting their asses and fighting. That’s a great defensive line right there. Starting in the middle with big Dexter Lawrence, you’ve got to shut those guys down and hold them off for us to be able to attack downfield and they did that. As we’ve said, we’ve been able to get in the run game, going and creating holes, and just having that balance. Communication right up front. Right guard Zack Martin through the rest of them. Tyron’s been playing some of his best ball. Two games in a row, I haven’t seen the film, but I can tell you that I wasn’t worried about that side. Between him and Tyler doing their thing. Speaking of bounce back, Terrence Steele had a hell of a game. That’s what it’s all about. Complimenting each other. Those guts know that I’m going to work with them. Send me a pocket. If I have to get out, I have to get out. That’s part of it. Just stay on your guy, stay on his hip. We’ll make plays and allow us to get this thing going outside and we can do that. We’ll be a tough team to beat.

On his relationship with Jake Ferguson

Jake is going to be a big-time player. He’s already coming into that and making big time plays, but his is going to be one of the top tight ends in the league. Just a matter of time, a matter of the games, and him putting them together back-to- back. That’s what he expects out of himself. That’s what we expect out of him as a team and as an offense. He’s a great player and has a mindset that you want playing a dirty position where you’ve got to run block. Next thing you know, you have to make physical plays across the middle. He’s talented, he’s got the right personality, the right mentality for it, and he’s a fun teammate. He’s going to do whatever he can for those other 10 guys on the field at that time and the other 50 plus that he can every time that his number is called. He has a bright future ahead.

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore

On Dallas having the best defense in the league...

I think so. You know, we can stack up against anybody and we show it every week. We’ve just got to keep proving it to everybody. I think we have the guys to be the best defense in the league.

On not getting too complacent against New York and the mindset...

We know they’re an NFL team. We’ve got to come out and play each week no matter who we’re going against. We didn’t take them lightly. We just had to put our best foot forward and take care of business.

On not giving the rookie quarterback the opportunity to get comfortable...

Yeah, for sure. D-line did a great job; played tight coverage on the back end. You know they go hand in hand.

On starting fast as a big favorite against New York...

I mean, anytime you’re going against anybody you try to start fast not matter what; (or) who you’re going against. You know they had a couple...adversity going into this game, but we just wanted to come out and start fast and get going.

On the blow out wins and what it says about your potential...

Yeah, for sure. I think we’re gifted. We’ve got a lot of great players that are trying to get better each week. You know, we’re getting better and better each game. I’m just looking forward to stacking wins with these guys and getting to where we want to go.

Safety Jayron Kearse

On your mentality going into this game...

Our mentality going into this game was just like it is going into a lot of games. When we’re going against a team that we know we should beat; go out there and just handle business. That was the mentality. These guys couldn’t play with us, and we knew that. We just had to go out there and put our foots on their throats and continue to pound them.

On the blowout wins and what does it say about the ceiling of this team?

We’re just some guys that get out there and we just go do our job. Like you said, it doesn’t happen in the league a lot. We’re one of the ones that’s doing it. It’s time for us to continue to do this against these next couple of opponents but understand when we get to these playoff caliber teams, we can still go out there and do the same thing. That’s when we can really stamp that we’re one of those teams that can go out there and play with anybody.

On being frustrated with the Philly loss. Did it spark you more through the week in getting you ready for today?

Not really, not me personally knowing we should have won that game. You know, and we were good enough to win that game. But they came out victorious. So, I just went into this game just understanding that we have a chance to go out here and do something incredible against these guys and we just did that and that’s really all it boils down to.

Defensive Tackle Neville Gallimore

On this game being fun to watch

I just knew that, when we play together and when we take things to practice, and it carries over to the game, good things usually happen. And I think that this just catered to that today. Everybody’s on the same page, we’re communicating, and when we communicate then we play fast. It’s usually fun for everybody.

Regarding Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?

So much to be thankful for. I’m thankful for my family, I’m thankful for my wife, thankful for my parents, thankful for my brothers, thankful for my nieces and nephews, sister-in-law. I’m just thankful to play this game man. I’m thankful to be able to play this game that I love and dreamed about ever since I was a kid.

WR, Brandin Cooks

On his touchdown catch...

That’s just the trust though right there. Dak trusted in me and me going up there and making a play for him. That’s all that is.

On his success today against the Giants and what it means...

You know, I think at the end of the day, it just means really continuing like I always tell the other guys and trusting the process. When your number is called, being able to take advantage of the opportunities because when the ball comes your way, it’s going to come and when it does go out there and make a play.

On being able to contribute after the last few years...

It’s a blessing. Like the word talking about don’t grow weary in doing good for at the proper time you’ll reap a harvest if you don’t give up. Being you know a hard, tough couple of years but through my faith and my work ethic and my family, my wife and my kids just continue to push them in and keep going. It’s something sweet for sure.

On this stretch for the offense these past few weeks...

I think it’s been great, obviously you feel great. Like you said, all along we’re going to continue to trust the men we have in this building. Just goes to show that we’re going to continue to trust our system. You know, guys are going to make plays.

On the ceiling for this team...

I think what it says first and foremost is just going out there handling games like this that you’re supposed to handle. As far as the ceiling, we don’t know what that is because at the end of the day, we just want to continue to show up and turn some of those losses that we had into wins in those type of games.

On the value of younger players getting reps in game...

I think that’s a huge value because at the end of day like Coach McCarthy talks about, you’re going to need all hands on deck so for them to be able to go out there and get actual game reps is more important than most people think.

On Michael Gallup’s performance...

Huge because like I always talk to MG about just continue to trust it. Never forget who he is. Today show that two catches for I believe 74 yards. He’s an explosive player.

On seeing a guy that’s been struggling and working so hard succeed...

It means everything because at the end of the day, it’s going to take us all. MG, he’s a freak of nature. Tonight showed that. For him to keep going, I believe so much in him.

On CeeDee Lamb elevating his play...

The kid is special. Year four doing things like this is fun to watch. You know I’m out there, not just a teammate but a fan. So, it’s great to see.

On the home field advantage with the fans...

They come out you know whether it’s a noon game, 3:25 game, night game, the energy that they bring to get us going. Shout out to the fans for showing up and being ready.

On a sense of urgency with the fans home field advantage...

Absolutely. You know, you don’t want to waste these people’s time, their hard-earned money, the way they come out and support us. So, the energy they bring us helps us get home early.

On what the running game does for the passing game...

Anytime you can have a balanced offense and your run game is going that opens up everything else. Now you’re not one dimensional. The defense got to be able to cover every blade of grass is what we we talk about so it was great to see those guys running hard today.

On if everyone on the sideline knew CeeDee needed only eight yards to start the fourth quarter to set the record...

Yeah, everyone knew he needed the eight. And you know that’s cool to be able to for him to go in and get that. Coach McCarthy had an eye on that because that’s no easy task what he has done these past four weeks.

OL, Tyler Smith

On the balance of the offence’s impact on the offensive line...

When you’re passing the ball effectively, it’s going to thin out that box. When you’re running the ball effectively, it’s going to make that box heavier which then allows you to pass the ball. So just that complementary football aspect is going to be helpful for us, just to continue to get better and continue to just open up our offense more and not become limited.

On the mentality to not let up despite who they’re playing...

It doesn’t matter what they have going on over there. In this building, we know every time we show out each week, it’s always going to be on us. It’s us versus us. We’re playing to our standard; we’re not playing to whoever our competition is. Just keeping the mission in perspective for us is what we’re trying to do. At the end of the day, we want to go to a super bowl and it starts with going 1-0 every single week. Regardless of who the opponent is or what they’re going through, that’s just something we do a good job of harping on.

On the patriotic pregame events...

It was a very beautiful moment. I shook the former president’s hand. That’s something that’s crazy. I thought to myself man can you ever imagine yourself doing that one day. That was just an extremely cool moment for me and for my teammates for sure. It was beautiful I thanked them for their service for sure. I’ve got veterans in my family and I’m extremely appreciative for all of the sacrifices they’ve made so that I can enjoy my freedom.

On any words exchanged with George W. Bush...

He called me a big guy. He said “Hey, you’re the big guy.” And I said, “yeah I’ve one of them I guess.” Then I had to lock back in. I can’t be tripping out for a long time.

RB, Rico Dowdle

On balancing his mindset...

It’s just something I always put my game on. I’ve prided myself, just being a physical runner downhill north and south. Also have like I said, have the ability to make guys miss in space as well. So just between the tackle, hardnosed football played in the SEC, so I’ve been doing it for years.

On the first person he’s responded to...

I haven’t checked my phone yet. I haven’t checked my phone.

On getting close to the end zone...

Excitement. Excitement. Eyes get big, trying hard to get in there. I thought I’d gotten in there the first time and celebrated but I didn’t. But yeah, just a lot of excitement man trying to get in the box.

On what he sees with the complementary football on offense...

Just a bunch of ballers. That’s what I see a bunch of ballplayers out there making plays for the team. But like you said, definitely good complimentary football. We’ve got to be able to run it, got to be able to pass it. And when it’s all working well, we’re going to be working well. So definitely gotta have it.

WR, CeeDee Lamb

On if he feels like he is in a zone...

Absolutely.

On his touchdown run...

I mean, it was as open as it has been all week. I was very surprised but I’ll take it.

On how it feels on how he’s playing...

It’s all part of the process, trusting the process and believing in myself and my abilities and my teammates. Going in, play the game that we can play. Complimentary football and defense get us the football. Offense let’s go. Now we can win.

On what statement he’s saying about what kind of wide receiver he is...

I’m one of one. I’m the top receiver in this game and there’s no question about it. Competitors see y’all again next week.

On the offense’s performance and Brandin’s performance...

That was long overdue for Brandin. I couldn’t wait to celebrate with him. I just finally heard he had like 160. Week in and

week out and we deal with a lot of goods and bads and we know we can always be better. We have to come out and do it again next week.

On any changes on how defenses are playing him...

Yeah, they’re definitely trying to double me. Mike’s doing a great job of moving me around and keeping me in motion, lining me up on the outside so I guess you can’t really get a beat. It’s Mike versus their DC at this point.

On how unstoppable the passing attack feels...

We’re hitting our stride. This past month, as you can tell, we’ve been on a roll. We just have to keep it going. Stay consistent. Stay true. Be us and let the rest fall in line have really nice drive but

On his confidence after seeing Cooks and MG succeeding...

A lot man. It just shows the depth we have in this receiving room. Each and every one of us can go up and go get it. Deep ball, deep threats. It’s all picking your poison.

On if he knew he needed two catches and eight yards on the last possession...

Yeah I heard. It was brought to my attention.

On if the ball was going anywhere else...

Nah.

On who brought it to his attention...

A couple of players.

On how much more impossible it is for defenses when Cooks and MG are playing well...

I mean you have to play true. There are only so many yards you going to let BCooks, MG and then the running backs get going until you just, CeeDee don’t deserve two guys. We may need to put one more in a box or we may have to just stay true. And that’s not going to lie. Because winning our matches, winning our individual battles, being where we got to be, being on time, staying true to our offense, trusting the process. We’re going to do some great things.

On if he’s seen Dak this zoned in...

Yes I have and I can’t wait to see it again next week, the following week and the week after.
