Everything Leaving Netflix in September

Consider your imminent plans cancelled. With a bevy of shows and films poised to leave Netflix this month, we foresee some serious binge-watching ahead. To help you prioritize, we’ve compiled a list of every title set to depart the streamer in September.

Vampire Diaries fans, there’s not much time left to watch Klaus & Co. take on the witches and werewolves of New Orleans in the spinoff series The Originals, due to exit early in the month. Additional shows bracing for departure include the unscripted addiction series Intervention as well as the spooky Nickelodeon reboot Are You Afraid of the Dark?.

Film fans have just over a month to watch Jack and Rose fight for their love whilst on a sinking ship in the blockbuster disaster flick Titanic. If sports drama is more your speed, you might want to catch the iconic boxing movie Rocky — and sequels Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV and Rocky V — before it’s gone at the end of the month.

The Originals Seasons 1-5

This Vampire Diaries offshoot follows Klaus (played by Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebecca Mikaelson (Claire Holt), who relocate from Mystic Falls to New Orleans to face a new threat to their family. Additional cast includes Phoebe Tonkin as the werewolf Hayley Marshall, Charles Michael Davis as Klaus’ protégé Marcel, Danielle Campbell as the young witch Davina and Leah Pipes as the human psychologist Camille.

Leaving Netflix: Wednesday, Sept. 6

Intervention Season 21

This harrowing reality series focuses on individuals who are struggling with addiction, and how it impacts their mental health as well as the others around them, leading to an intervention.

This season’s subjects include Coleman, who experimented with drugs and alcohol before losing custody of his daughter, and Melanie, whose older boyfriend got her hooked on crack cocaine and she wound up in rehab at 15 years old.

Leaving Netflix: Thursday, Sept. 14

Titanic

In this iconic film starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, an older Rose recalls how she, a first class 17-year-old, fell in love with a rakish third class passenger named Jack Dawson aboard the doomed RMS Titanic. The movie has grossed more than $2 billion worldwide and won 11 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Original Score.

Leaving Netflix: Saturday, Sept. 30

A League of Their Own

Directed by Penny Marshall, the film centers on highly competitive sisters Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) and Kit Keller (Lori Petty) as they participate in the groundbreaking professional women’s baseball league while being coached by grumpy ex-player Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks). The all-star cast also includes Gary Marshall as publicity-hungry candy maker Walter Harvey, Jon Lovitz as scout Ernie Capadino and Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell as the sisters’ teammates.

Warm Bodies

Nicholas Hoult and Theresa Palmer star in this paranormal romantic comedy about a zombie who falls in love with a human and tries his best to protect her from others like him.
