Danovan Anthony Lodge identified as victim of fatal shooting

Police have identified the victim who was fatally shot in Toronto's Lawrence Heights neighbourhood Tuesday night as 30-year-old Danovan Anthony Lodge.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m., near Flemington and Stockton roads. The victim was found on the driveway with a gunshot wound to the head, police said. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene shortly after arriving.

Neighbours told CBC News they heard gunshots.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Wednesday.
