Filipino dessert cafe to open two stores in Sacramento area. Here’s where
Cafe 86, a Filipino-inspired dessert cafe, is opening its doors in Roseville.
The franchise has over nine locations which are mostly in Southern California, as well as in Fresno and Las Vegas. There are an additional 13 locations being built throughout California and Arizona, according to the cafe website.
The Roseville location will be at 3992 Foothills Blvd., Suite 150. It is expected to open within the next two to four months, owners told the Sacramento Business Journal.
A second location for the Sacramento-area is also being built in Elk Grove, according to the cafe website. Both stores are accepting job applications for crew member positions and shift leads. Resumes can be submitted through the cafe website.
The cafe focuses on Ube-centric desserts and drinks. Ube is a purple yam that originated in the Philippines. Customers will find an assortment of dessert to choose from that includes “Filipino flavors” like Ube-leche flan cupcakes, Halo Halo and Ube truffles.
The Bee reached out to Cafe 86 for comment on its new Sacramento-area location but did not hear back by time of publication.
