Floodwaters Gush Through Guatemalan Village as Storm Julia Brings Heavy Rainfall to Region

Heavy rainfall from Tropical Depression Julia triggered flooding and landslides in parts of Guatemala’s Quiche department on Monday, October 10, Guatemala’s disaster management agency said.

Footage from the village of Chel shows floodwaters raging down an overflowing waterway.
