Following the Kentucky basketball team to Pittsburgh? How to get NCAA Tournament tickets.

University of Kentucky men’s basketball fans have several options to obtain tickets to the Wildcats’ NCAA Tournament first-round game Thursday night in Pittsburgh.

UK vs. Oakland (7:10 p.m.) is one of four games that will be played Thursday at the first- and second-round site. Also Thursday, Creighton faces Akron (1:30 p.m.), South Carolina goes against Oregon (about 4 p.m.) and North Carolina State takes on Texas Tech (about 9:40 p.m.).

On Sunday, it’s the UK-Oakland winner vs. the North Carolina State-Texas Tech winner and the Creighton-Akron winner vs. the South Carolina-Oregon winner. Times for the second round will not be announced until all first-round games are complete.

Kentucky receives a limited allotment of tickets from the NCAA. Eligible K Fund members who requested first- and second-round tickets in advance of Selection Sunday were to receive a confirmation email on Monday evening, March 18, from the UK Ticket Office with information about whether or not their request has been fulfilled.

Public tickets for the games in Pittsburgh may be purchased at NCAA.com/MBBTickets. Fans will find complete ticket information there for all NCAA sites, including information about the NCAA Ticket Exchange (NCAA.com/Exchange), the official secondary marketplace for authentic NCAA Tournament tickets.

Ticket prices for the first-round sessions range from $70-150 and for the second-round session from $170-180.

More information about requesting tickets for all possible rounds of the NCAA Tournament is available at ukathletics.com/ticketing/mbbncaa-requests/ and will be updated if Kentucky advances. Those who are eligible to request NCAA tickets will be notified by email from the UK Ticket Office.

Student tickets are not available for first- and second-round games, and information for later rounds will be available at UKStudentTix.com if Kentucky advances.
