Ford to city employees: Watch porn on your own time

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford meets Alexandra the Great Horned Owl at the Sportsmen's Show on Thursday.

Rob Ford toured the Sportsmen's Show on Thursday, something the Toronto mayor says he "never misses."

Ford made stops at the trout pond, a fishing simulator and a gun range, where he fired several shots from an air rifle.

His last stop was holding a bird of prey — a Great Horned Owl — which seemed to take a shine to the mayor.

"Am I allowed to move or am I stuck here?" Ford quipped.

But Ford was also asked some questions about recent allegations about misappropriation of funds at Toronto Community Housing.

"It's pretty deep, from the stories I've heard," said Ford. "It's been going on a long time, I think. We could have serious problem on our hands. We have to clean house."

And when asked about an auditor's report that — among other things — cited city employees for watching pornography on the job, Ford said: "We got to get rid of these employees. We can't have people being paid to sit there and watch porn. Like, do that on your private time, but not during working hours."
