Fort Worth police investigate shooting that hospitalized man; suspect at large

Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that hospitalized a man on Tuesday night.

Around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to a call near the intersection of Lloyd Avenue and Judy Lane, in east Fort Worth.

Officers found a 41-year-old man at the scene with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to a police report.

Investigators believe that the suspect is known by the victim and that they have an ongoing history of verbal and physical altercations, police said.

The victim was taken to an local hospital for treatment, according to police. No arrests have been made, police say.

The neighborhood is a residential area near Sagamore Hill Elementary School.
