Fox and The CW Tweak Fall Schedules: What’s Moving? What’s Getting Pushed?
Fall TV’s game of musical chairs is still going strong, with Fox and The CW both shifting shows around their fall schedules.
Fox will air repeats of 9-1-1: Lone Star Tuesdays at 9/8c this fall, starting Sept. 19. That replaces reality series I Can See Your Voice, which will now return for its third season at midseason.

Over at The CW, Season 3 of FBoy Island — featuring former Bachelorette Katie Thurston — will now debut Monday, Oct. 16 at 8/7c with a special two-hour premiere. It swaps places with The CW’s comedy lineup of Son of a Critch, Run the Burbs, Children Ruin Everything and Everyone Else Burns, which will air on Thursdays beginning Oct. 19. (A possible reason for the swap: ABC’s The Golden Bachelor, which recently moved from Mondays to Thursdays this fall. With this shift, FBoy Island avoids being in direct competition with a similar reality dating competition.)
9-1-1: Lone Star, starring Rob Lowe and Gina Torres, is set to return for a fifth season on Fox, but no premiere date has been set yet amid the ongoing Hollywood writers and actors strikes. (The original 9-1-1, meanwhile, is moving from Fox to ABC for Season 7.) FBoy Island, which aired for two seasons on Max before moving to The CW, sees three women choosing from a bevy of men that are either “Nice Guys” or “FBoys,” with both love and money on the line.
